Moinerie Hotel in Sark nearing completion - in time for new tourist season

The Moinerie Hotel in Sark is nearing completion and will be ready in time for the new tourist season. Externally the existing façade has been matched to create an adjacent restaurant and 9 cottages. The random granite used is all re-cycled from the previous derelict outhouses. The pink dressed granite is Rose Montforte from Portugal and is the perfect match to the Jersey pink of the existing Hotel. The roads and courtyards have been cobbled in salvaged setts and cubes from France. Internally, the restaurant and lobby floor areas have been tiled with antiqued finish limestone  from Morocco. Granite le Pelley masons have been working at the Moinerie Hotel since last October and at times have had over 10 Masons on site. The masons will now move to the Dixcart Hotel to complete this project in time for the summer tourists.
